THINGS I DISCOVERED IN MELBOURNE THIS WEEKEND

I've always been an online shopper, i cant stand the tiny change rooms, the way-too-polite sales people and the inability to spend hours deciding on "paisley" or "polka dot" patterns on your dress. Online shopping is the best, but sometimes Melbourne will suprise you with shopfront that you just cant go past! I name this post THINGS I DISCOVERED IN MELBOURNE THIS WEEKEND, based on the many shops i went to for the first time because they looked sorta cool.

# 1 TRIMAPEE AT JANE BELL LANE QV. Ok so the only reason i went into this store was because my friend phil works here and he was wearing an awesome leather jacket on the weekend and I-JUST-HAD-TO-HAVE-ONE. Trimapee is an amazing label thats taking the world by storm (if you read Jamie Oh's blog you'll know much about it) its dark, its sexy and its androgynous (just what i love) ANYWAY the store is really cool, lots of lights, lots of leather and lots of gorgeous clothing (i've fallen in love with a jacket from there, but that post will come later ) heres some photos:

#2 FASHIONDACCI AT THERRY STREET MELBOURNE. This store was a major suprise. I was walking to the Victoria Market and happened to walk past this store window (i saw lots of rings and was reminded of Karl Largerfields hands) the store is full of crazy weird clothing, a mix of Lady Gaga meets cheap designer rip offs. Its really cool and the chick working was mega crazy cool. oh and talk about cheap! i got the cutest pair of clog sandals for 48 bucks! HERS SOME PHOTOS
